Looking for a night that combines mind expanding science with a cold, crisp pint? Look no further. Astronomy on Tap Tauranga is here, and we are diving deep into the secrets of the universe, exoplanets, and the ultimate question: Are we alone?

Join your hosts, Hari, our resident astrobiologist tracking down signs of alien life, and Sam, our resident astrophysicist decoding the physics of the cosmos. They will be your guides through the stars, breaking down complex science into fun, bite sized pieces. No PhD is required, although it might help for the quiz.

  • Two Short Presentations: Hari and Sam will share insights from the cutting edges of astrobiology and astrophysics.

  • Interactive Q&A: Bring your burning questions about black holes, alien microbes, or the future of space travel.

  • The Cosmic Quiz: Put your new knowledge and general geekery to the test in a short trivia round. Prizes and bragging rights await.
