Are you a secondary teacher looking to level up in conservation science?

Auckland Zoo staff member speaking about the Auckland Zoo Teacher Professional Development programme for secondary teachers in conservation science.

Applications are open for our exciting new Teacher Professional Development Programme! This programme has been developed for secondary school teachers based in Auckland, to enrich themselves and their students in conservation knowledge.

Through the Auckland Zoo Teacher Professional Development programme, you’ll join a group of like-minded teachers to gain skills in teaching wildlife conservation science and how to incorporate this within your teaching practice. Utilising the knowledge gained through the programme, you’ll then lead your students in a local conservation project.

This year-long programme consists of self-paced online modules, an in-person workshop at the Zoo, and a visit to your school from our conservation learning team.

Ngā mihi nui ki a Colleen Cavanaugh mō tana whakaae kia whakaputaina anō e mātou. Thanks to Colleen Cavanaugh, Auckland Zoo, for her permission for us to repost.
