Join the Forest & Bird Hui in Rotorua, for a powerful day of kōrero, strategy, and inspiration.
This free hui on Saturday 29 November is open to everyone and centres on a pressing challenge across Aotearoa: how we tackle pest species such as feral deer and wallabies, and protect forests that are struggling to regenerate.
You’ll hear from people doing the work on the ground and at system level. Speakers include:
Ora Barlow from Raukūmara Pae Maunga,
Professor Bruce Clarkson,
Stu Kneebone, Forest & Bird Chief Executive Nicola Toki,
Board President Kate Graeme.
They will share what is working in browser control, the impact it is having on forest recovery, and how communities can influence decision makers to take bold steps for our wild places.
