Kia ora koutou,

Updates to a number of New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) Achievement Standards and supporting assessment materials for use in 2026 have now been published. These updates are part of the annual NCEA Review and Maintenance Programme (RAMP) and apply across multiple subjects at Levels 1–3, including one(s) relevant to your association.

Teachers and NCEA providers will be required to use the updated versions of these standards and materials for assessment in 2026. Most changes are minor and focus on improving clarity and interpretation, and

Conditions of Assessment for all internal standards have been updated.

Full details, including links to the updated materials now available on the NCEA Education website and TKI, can be found here.
