From 27–29 January 2026, the University of Waikato is running their SheENG programme — a three-day, two-night experience designed especially for young women interested about engineering.

erial view of Hamilton, New Zealand, with the Waikato River flowing through the city centre, showing residential neighbourhoods, urban buildings, and distant mountains under a clear blue sky.
Students will get a true taste of engineering life: hands-on workshops in cutting-edge labs, mentorship from current Waikato students, talks from industry leaders, and the chance to meet like-minded peers through fun social activities. Participants will be staying in the Halls of Residence at Waikato’s Hamilton campus, making it a full campus experience. Image source: Adobe Stock.
