Keen to explore how artificial intelligence can support your science communication mahi? SCANZ (Science Communicators Association of New Zealand) is hosting an online webinar that might be just what you need.

AI Tools for Science Communicators is happening on Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at 7pm, and it’s all about making everyday communication tasks faster, clearer, and more creative — especially for those working at the interface of science and the public.
The session will be led by Claire Byrne, an AI consultant with experience across Aotearoa and Australia, who will demonstrate practical tools that are already helping people summarise complex content, generate visuals, streamline workflows, and craft content with greater ease. Find out how educators, researchers, and communicators can thoughtfully use AI to support their goals while keeping ethics and accessibility front and centre.
