Know an impressive emerging or established science communicator who deserves recognition? Nominate them for a SCANZ Award!
From now until 25 August, the Science Communicators Association of New Zealand (SCANZ) are accepting submissions for our 2025 SCANZ Awards. The categories are:
SCANZ Excellence in Science Communication Award - $1500 cash prize recognising outstanding communication of science to a non-scientific audience
SCANZ Emerging Science Communicator Award - awarded to an exceptional science communicator near the start of their career journey. Includes a $500 cash prize and complementary registration to our upcoming SCANZ conference in 2026
