Workshops

Presenters are asked to register for the conference at the standard rates, with one-day options available. Submissions for workshops will open online early next year.

  • Submissions open: 2 February 2026

  • Submission method: All submissions will be online

  • Submit by: 30 April 2026

  • Notification of acceptance: 30 May 2026

  • Programme released: July 2026

The Call for Workshops invites proposals for three session types: Brilliant Bursts (15-minute, high-energy idea-sharing presentations paired into a combined session), 30-minute workshops for interactive exploration of a strategy or concept, and 60-minute workshops designed for larger teams presenting substantial work or research-informed practice.

Presenters are encouraged to design engaging, interactive sessions that offer practical tools and insights for kaiako, and to provide any supporting resources participants may need.

To submit, applicants will prepare a title, a description of up to 300 words outlining the session’s connection to the conference theme and key content, and a set of learning objectives highlighting the skills, knowledge, or strategies participants will gain. Preferred session length, subject area(s), contributor details, and any special room, laboratory, or AV requirements will also be requested as part of the submission.
