Agenda
In this hui, we will utilise the day to engage with the draft Science learning area materials, including the sample unit and lesson plans.
Printed copies of curriculum materials and readings will be provided, and participants will annotate them with comments, questions, and suggestions as we work through the materials together.
These annotations will form part of the organisational-level feedback gathered from the group.
We will also invite discussion and feedback on practical implementation, including resourcing, equipment and kit availability, time demands, classroom logistics, and the broader purpose and goals of science education in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand.
What to bring to our 2026 Bay Science Cluster
Your lunch (morning tea is provided).
A computer and something to write with.
Any copies of curriculum-related notes which you might like to share.
