Volunteers walk through native bush at Kaharoa Forest during a Kaharoa Kōkako Trust workday focused on biodiversity and forest restoration.

This article provides information about science-related experiences to support school planning. You can view more experiences across Aotearoa here.

The Kaharoa Kōkako Trust welcomes inquiries from schools and education groups interested in visiting Kaharoa Forest.

Our small team of experienced volunteer educators may be available to host your group and share insights into the forest’s unique ecology, the importance of biodiversity, and the work being done by the trust to protect and restore the overall health of the forest.

Visits are by arrangement only, so please get in touch to discuss availability and how we may be able to support your educational goals.
