The Geospatial Research Institute – Toi Hangarau is excited to invite you to their upcoming GRISS seminar on Thursday, June 25 featuring Astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Director at the Australian Space Agency. She will be giving a talk called "Two Nations, One Orbit: How Australia and New Zealand are making their mark in the global space sector".

Katherine Bennell-Pegg is the first professional astronaut to officially represent Australia, having graduated in April 2024 from the European Space Agency’s 13-month Astronaut Basic Training. She currently serves as a Director at the Australian Space Agency, where she plays a key role in advancing space capability, including technical planning for the Moon to Mars "Roo-ver" lunar mission.


You are welcome to join for refreshments and networking from 1:30 - 2pm. The seminar runs from 2-3pm and will take place in the C2 Central Lecture Theatre at UoC. To come in person or to participate via Zoom, please register for free.
