The New Zealand Institute of Chemistry (NZIC) Wellington branch has locked in the dates for its premier secondary school events. For chemistry kaiako, this is the annual benchmark for our senior rangatahi to demonstrate both their theoretical understanding and their precision in the lab.

The NZIC Chemistry Quiz 2026 is a fast-paced challenge that pushes students to apply their knowledge beyond the standard NCEA curriculum. Meanwhile, the Titration Competition remains a rite of passage for Year 12 and 13 students, requiring the kind of steady hand and meticulous attention to detail that marks a true scientist.
