Ocean Youth Aotearoa Autumn Programme 2026 is a five-day immersive experience held during the second week of the April school holidays. Designed for rangatahi aged 13–17 who are passionate about the ocean, this hands-on programme offers opportunities to explore coastal ecosystems, learn from scientists and conservation practitioners, take part in citizen science, and develop ideas for real-world marine conservation action.

This programme gives young people the opportunity to:

  • Explore coastal ecosystems

  • Learn from scientists and conservation practitioners

  • Take part in citizen science

  • Develop ideas for real-world marine conservation action

Build confidence and connect with like-minded young people, all while exploring our beautiful Tīkapa Moana.

Spaces are limited and applications are now open.

Ngā mihi nui to the team at Ocean Youth Aotearoa for permission to share this powerful, real-world learning opportunity with our Bay Science community.
