Our Sky Tonight - Te Whatu Stardome - Tāmaki Makaurau

Connect with the cosmos during a live planetarium experience designed to give rangatahi and whānau a clearer view of our night sky. Te Whatu Stardome presents an expert-guided tour exploring stars, constellations, and traditional sky stories.

Stardome Planetarium is hosting live "Our Sky Tonight" showings throughout August to guide audiences through the stars and constellations visible above Auckland. Adobe Images.

Each session focuses on the changing night sky directly above Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and far beyond. Kaiako looking to connect astronomy concepts with local context will find plenty of practical insights throughout the digital planetarium show.

• Age Suitability: Ages 10 and up (a family-friendly option, Looking Up, is recommended for tamariki under 10)
  

• Tickets & Entry: Bookings are essential, with free entry for annual pass holders
  

• Important Note: Arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime, as late entry is not permitted once the show begins
