Can farming be part of the solution for our lakes?

Recloaking the Bay is a short 35-minute film that follows seven Bay of Plenty farmers who are reshaping the way we think about food production and the environment.

Their stories highlight practical ways to protect water quality, restore wetlands, boost biodiversity, and create farms that are both climate-resilient and profitable.

This film also shows how whole-catchment approaches are already making a difference — for our 13 lakes, our communities, and the generations to come.

See NZ Herald's in-depth article for more coverage.

Ngā mihi nui ki Wai Kōkopu and all those involved in Recloaking the Bay. We hope some of our kaiako readers will be able to attend and bring fresh inspiration into their AgHort and sustainability lessons.
