A Seaweek joint webinar exploring how the ocean supports and connects life on Earth is now available to watch online.

The session brought together marine scientists from Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, focusing on how the ocean makes life habitable by providing oxygen, nutrients, and environments for ecosystems to thrive. It also highlighted how humans are deeply connected to the ocean, and the role we all play in caring for it.


The session was a collaboration between Seaweek New Zealand, the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE), the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education & Recreation Centre, and partners across Australia.
