Westpac NZ and BLAKE are running a nationwide competition to giveaway 15 immersive learning experiences. This is a unique opportunity for your school to secure a high-tech session without hitting the science department budget.

The initiative aims to make climate science accessible and engaging. By using virtual reality, rangatahi can witness the impacts of environmental change firsthand, moving beyond the classroom whiteboard to explore the frontlines of our changing ecosystems.

Westpac and BLAKE are offering 15 New Zealand schools the opportunity to experience an immersive virtual reality programme focused on climate change education. More details.

How to Enter the Competition

Westpac worked alongside 12 students from Sylvia Park School, Māngere East School, and St Mary MacKillop Catholic School to ensure this campaign speaks directly to New Zealand youth.

  • The Reward: A free VR visit for your school from the NZ-VR team.

  • Total Winners: 15 school visits are available to be won.

  • The Experience: An interactive session focused on NZ-VR climate change data and local impacts.
