This July, STEAM-Ed Charitable Trust is bringing the excitement back to the school holidays with a hands-on programme designed to spark curiosity and creativity in rangatahi aged 5 to 13. With robotics days for all levels, build-your-own hydraulic arms, and even a combat robotics competition (yes—there's a donut trophy at stake!), it’s shaping up to be a school holiday adventure like no other.
Tamariki can also explore the world of flight by helping build a miniature airport, or dive into the wonders of our native manu with a birds-themed day that blends science with nature.

These sessions are filling up fast, and it’s no surprise—STEAM-Ed’s popular programmes are known for making science, tech, engineering, arts, and maths fun and accessible.
Work and Income OSCAR subsidies are available for eligible whānau, helping ensure this opportunity is open to more families across Tauranga.
