The first Bay of Plenty Cluster of 2025 is set for afterschool on Wednesday March 26th at Pāpāmoa College. This cluster hui runs complimentary, or as an alternative, the national NZASE workshops.

During this cluster, we will:
Look at a collection of moderator comments collated by Linda Haycock (NZASE) and, in groups or as a department, analyse how this might inform their 2025 assessment practices.
Create space for team leaders (HoDs, HOLAs and unofficial Year 11 leaders) to share samples of externally moderated work and comments. Prioritising the attendance of a team leader will allow collegial discussions around the sharing of student work, as well as the terms. This networking is vital and will set the foundations for any NCEA changes which lay ahead.
You can see the full flyer here.
If you are thinking of attending, please register here so that we can properly cater to your dietary requirements.
Update 25/03/2025: The cluster is confirmed to be going ahead! We look forward to seeing you there!
