Day of AI Aotearoa | New Zealand has launched, providing teachers with free AI literacy resources for Years 5–10 classrooms. The programme introduces students to key ideas in artificial intelligence, helping them explore how AI works, where it appears in everyday life, and the opportunities and challenges it presents for society.
The initiative is part of the global Day of AI programme, which aims to help students understand how artificial intelligence works, how it is used, and how it affects society.
Teachers and schools can now register online to access the teaching resources, which include lessons and activities designed to introduce students to key ideas in AI.
