HATA Regional Hub 2025 — Term 4 Online Hui for Members

The HATA Regional Hub online hui for 2025 is being hosted by the Wellington Regional Hub and is open to HATA members who were unable to attend an in-person meeting. This fully online session runs on Tuesday 25 November, 3.30–5.00pm, and provides an opportunity to stay informed about current developments in Agricultural and Horticultural Science education.

A Ministry of Education update on recent developments and the pathway toward 2026
A walkthrough of new Agri Education teaching resources, including:
Junior and Level 1–3 materials
Scholarship resources
Literacy and numeracy worksheets
Mātiki Minecraft content
Beef + Lamb NZ’s Bella AI assistant
Industry-specific tools and options for 2026 specialist short-course training
Muka Tangata & Standards Support
With Lisa Abernethy and Jasmine Conroy sharing:
An update on Muka Tangata and the ISB establishment
Q&A relating to Unit Standards (with an option to pre-submit questions through the registration form)
Looking Ahead
The session also includes discussion on:
Moderation groups for Level 1 Achievement Standards and Unit Standards
