Science Curriculum Update

The Minsitry of Education has recently updated Tāhūrangi with a drafting and implementation timeline, as well as named members of the science curriculum contributor groups.

The current proposal would see the refreshed science and pūtaiao curriculum available for feedback and use later this year and 2026, with full implementation required from the beginning of 2027.


While the ministry will be writing the new curricula for all learning areas, external contributor group members have also been publicised on Tāhūrangi.
