STEAM-ED is growing and looking for an additional STEAM Educator to join their team.

Based in Tauranga, STEAM-ED delivers hands-on STEAM programmes that spark curiosity and confidence in tamariki across the Bay. They’re looking for someone who enjoys working with young learners (around age 5+), has a passion for science and technology, and brings flexibility and creativity to learning experiences. Full training and support are provided, making this an exciting opportunity for kaiako and science-inspired educators keen to try something new.

At a glance

  • ~ 15 hours per week to start — expected to increase

  • Full training and support provided

  • Teaching experience preferred, but current teacher registration is not required

  • Perfect for kaiako on reduced hours, RTLB/RTLit looking for something different, or anyone passionate about STEAM learning
