Moving to a new country involves navigating endless unfamiliar systems, and the education sector is often one of the trickiest. To ensure all families feel confident guiding their children through school, an exciting new grassroots initiative has launched right in the heart of our community.
In an incredible collaboration, Multicultural Tauranga, Gate Pā School, and the Ministry of Education have teamed up to deliver a welcoming, practical solution.
The initiative is designed specifically for ethnic migrant parents. It pulls back the curtain on how local schools operate, creating a safe space where parents can ask questions, voice concerns, and build vital networks with local educators.

Bridging the Gap with the Tauranga Community Learning Hub Education Series
