An update on the yellow-legged hornet response in NZ is coming up, bringing together key voices from biosecurity and research to share what’s happening and what comes next.


Yellow-legged hornet (Vespa velutina) invasive species update webinar in New Zealand with biosecurity experts discussing response efforts

As part of the Connect & Protect Series, Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital is hosting an online session focused on the discovery of the yellow-legged hornet (Vespa velutina) in Aotearoa and the ongoing national response.


This series is designed to bring together partners, experts, and industry voices to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and support collective action to protect our environment and economy from pests and diseases.
